Applications open for Fintech Corporate Sprint Accelerator in Abu Dhabi

Startups from all over the world can now apply to the Fintech Corporate Sprint Accelerator in Abu Dhabi.

The three-week program is organised by StartAD, an Abu Dhabi-based accelerator in partnership with Ripple’s University Blockchain Research Initiative, according to a statement.

Accepted startups will be sponsored to travel to the UAE and present their ventures at GITEX, an annual technology trade show that will run from October 10 to 14 this year.

“CSA 9 offers the most cutting-edge fintech startups a platform to put their best foot forward in the GCC, by opening doors to business deals and partnerships with leading local corporations, preparing startups for the region’s regulatory framework, providing access to investment opportunities, and building their network in the global financial services and startup ecosystem,” StartAD’s managing director Ramesh Jagannathan (below) said.

Participants to the market access accelerator will have access to training, networking, brand building, as well as one-on-one meetings with prominent investors, media, and startup ecosystem leaders.

The accelerator will also choose participants who would receive an XRPL grant to work on solutions for the open source public blockchain, which is worth around $25,000.
